Educator Resources
The Museum of Science, Boston is the nation’s only science museum with a comprehensive strategy and infrastructure to foster engineering and technological literacy in both science museums and schools. The museum develops exhibits, programs, and curriculum that empowers children to become lifelong STEM learners and passionate problem solvers. Our engineering curricula (preK-12), resources, and teacher professional development are designed to innovate for the reality of today’s educational landscape, combining the best in theory, research, teaching practice, and thought leadership.
The Museum of Science provides ongoing programs for educators, school teams, and districts to enhance teaching and learning and support the advancement of STEM education goals.
The Educator Resource Center in the Lyman Library at the Museum of Science supports the Museum's goal of improving science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) literacy in grades K–12. The center provides a range of services for teachers to foster their personal growth and support their classroom teaching.
EiE offers a variety of online and in-person professional development workshops for teachers, teacher educators, and out-of-school time providers. You'll get the skills you need to foster student-centered, inquiry-based learning while enhancing your knowledge of engineering content.
